Setting up the Blog.
Blog Setup
The blog uses a Page Template to display the latest posts. You first need to create a new page with the blog template assigned.
| 1 | Navigate to the page or create a new one where you want the recent posts to appear on, "Pages > Add New". |
| 2 | Give your page a title, such as "Latest News". |
| 3 | On the right hand side select the "Blog" template in the "Page Attributes". |
| 4 | Publish or Update the page. |
Featured Image
You can set a featured image for a post.
| 1 | Navigate to the post or create a new one where you want the featured image to appear on. "Posts > Add New". |
| 2 | Locate to the "Featured Image" section on the right hand side of the page and click "Set featured image". |
| 3 | A dialogue will appear and you will be able to upload your desired image. |
| 4 | When you have uploaded your image, set your properties such as "Title". |
| 5 | Click "Use as featured image". |
| 6 | Publish or Update the post. |
